American Association of Independent Music Announces Board Election Results
A2IM, the American Association of Independent Music, has announced the results of their 2010 Board of Directors elections as voted by the A2IM label membership. The newly elected A2IM Board members are below (listed alphabetically):
Eric Brown (VP Business Affairs, Sub Pop)
Dave Hansen (General Manager, Epitaph)
Tom Silverman (CEO/Founder, Tommy Boy)
Founding A2IM board member Tom Silverman returns to the A2IM board after time off due to A2IM term limits, while Eric Brown and Dave Hansen are beginning their first term. The new board’s term will begin on July 4th and will be officially introduced during the organization’s 5th Anniversary Indie Week in NYC June 16-18.
The remainder of the organization’s board (all in the midst of three year terms) are: Concord Music Group President Glen Barros; The Beggars Group CEO Lesley Bleakley; tinyOGRE Entertainment COO Jim Cooperman; Razor & Tie Executive Vice President Dan Hoffman; Lookout Records co-owner Molly Neuman: Kill Rock Stars President Portia Sabin.
