Dominique Leguern Steps Down as MIDEM Director
Reed MIDEM has announced that Dominique Leguern will step down as Director of MIDEM following its 2011 edition in Cannes, France.
“I have been proud to lead MIDEM and MidemNet during a period of significant transformation of the music industry,” says Dominique Leguern. “It has been fascinating to integrate the major digital actors, brands, advertisers, live music specialists and managers into the creative MIDEM mix. I am happy to have shared this adventure with a great team and many wonderful clients during the last 10 years and am confident that MIDEM will continue to be an essential gathering for the international music community.”
Reed MIDEM will now begin a search for a new MIDEM Director. “Dominique is going to be a hard act to follow. We are fortunate that she will help us choose her successor and share her vision of how to develop MIDEM for the future,” notes Anne de Kerckhove, Director of Reed MIDEM’s Entertainment Division.
